PAINTING STUDIES WITH KATRINA TEIVĀNE

The studio offers teenagers and adults the opportunity to learn the basics of drawing, painting and composition from the very beginning, to improve the skills and abilities already acquired, as well as to prepare for the entrance exams of the Latvian Academy of Fine Arts, the Latvian Academy of Fine Arts, and the Latvian Academy of Fine Arts.

To ensure that each student achieves their individual goals in art education, study programs are individually compiled and discussed with the teacher.

Every winter, we organize an exhibition of our students' work in various galleries.

The teacher and painter has more than 15 years of experience
working with both teenagers and adults.

Katrīna Teivāne graduated from the Latvian Academy of Arts' painting workshop (Master of Arts), she has had 13 solo exhibitions. The artist's works adorn Latvian altars (Priekule, Sigulda, Pūre, Stende and others), most of the works are in foreign and Latvian private collections. Katrīna Taivāne has illustrated several book covers, won the SEB banka award at the gallery "Bastejs" for the best figurative composition.
